Trader Joe's Summer Cheese Board
Have you ever been on Pinterest and scrolled with envy at the fancy cheese and charcuterie boards? Have you said to yourself, that is so beautiful, but I could never make something look that good? I am here to help!
Assembling a cheese board is actually quite easy if you take a little time to gather quality products and lay them out in a fun and create way.
This cheese board from Trader Joe’s brings together yummy flavors and a variety of textures. You can’t go wrong.
Perfect for entertaining at holidays or a ladies brunch, you’ll wow your friends and family with this elegant and delicious cheese board.
Here in Columbus, a cheese board for 2 can cost as much as $12 per person and leave you wanting more. My cheese board serves 10 for half the price per person and you will have leftovers for a snack the next day! This is a versatile and fun way to entertain and feed your guests with maximum impact. Also, it is vegetarian (no charcuterie meats needed).
Because I love Trader Joe’s and their selection of cheese, I naturally shopped there to find all if the ingredients for this board! The grand total was $63.87 for 4 types of cheese, 4 types of crackers, 2 types of fruit, 2 types of nuts, plus dates and olives! Not bad right?
Tips for making the BEST Trader Joe’s cheese board:
Offer a variety of savory and sweet ingredients. The Fig and Olive Crips pair deliciously with the Double Gloucester cheese. The brie and cherries are an amazing combo! There is a little of everything on this board and you don’t have to worry about the cheese or crackers touching a slice of meat (this is my problem with the traditional charcuterie board)!
Offer a variety of textures. There is something so satisfying in mixing different ingredients to get a unique bite every time you assemble your next cracker! Mix the nuts, olives, cheese and crackers for something new each time.
Do not forget to add cheese knives, spoons and toothpicks so your guests do not have to use their hands to pick up the items on your cheese board! Keep it civil people!
Have fun with the arrangement! Add sprigs of fresh herbs from your garden, use a wooden chopping board or large platter, introduce pickles or jams. Seasonal touches can look so beautiful.
